Delhi High Court Extends Stay on FSSAI Order

Dabur India Limited has provided an update regarding the ongoing proceedings with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Further to previous intimations dated August 4, 2026, and August 7, 2026, concerning an FSSAI order dated August 3, 2026, the company has received a significant update from the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. The FSSAI order had prohibited the use of the “100%” claim in certain Dabur food products and restricted their sale. A stay was subsequently granted by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court on August 7, 2026.

Next Hearing and Continued Stay

At a hearing held on August 24, 2026, the Hon’ble Delhi High Court has re-notified the matter for further consideration. The next date of hearing is now set for December 16, 2026. Importantly, the stay granted by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court against the FSSAI’s prohibitory order shall remain in force until the next hearing.
