Cummins India Limited released its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated robust performance with a consolidated profit after tax of ₹609.30 crore. This figure represents a notable increase from the ₹649.46 crore reported for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, and a substantial gain from the ₹603.90 crore in the same quarter last year.
Key Financial Highlights
Total income for the quarter stood at ₹3,563.35 crore. The company also reported total expenses of ₹2,866.34 crore. Profit before exceptional items and tax was ₹697.01 crore. Other comprehensive income (net of tax) contributed positively, leading to a total comprehensive income of ₹609.28 crore for the period.
Management Changes Noted
In addition to the financial updates, the Board of Directors noted and accepted the resignation of Ms. Shveta Arya as Managing Director, Director, and Key Managerial Personnel. Her resignation is effective from August 31, 2026, as she seeks to pursue external opportunities. The company is currently evaluating suitable candidates for the vacant position.
Postal Ballot for Director Commission
The Board also approved a postal ballot notice to seek shareholder approval for a revision in the commission payable to the Independent Directors. M/s. Mehta & Mehta, Company Secretaries, Pune, have been appointed as scrutinizers for the e-voting process to ensure fair and transparent conduct.
