Craftsman Automation Limited has announced its strongest financial performance to date, achieving ₹8,069 crores in consolidated revenue for FY26. The company recorded a significant 42% year-on-year growth in revenue and an EBITDA of ₹1,300 crores. With a diversified portfolio across powertrain, aluminum products, and industrial segments, the company continues to expand its manufacturing footprint and technological capabilities globally, serving major marquee domestic and international customers.

Record-Breaking Financial Results

Craftsman Automation concluded the financial year 2026 on a high note, reporting consolidated revenue of ₹8,069 crores, representing a substantial 42% increase over the previous year. The company’s profitability also saw a robust upward trajectory, with PAT reaching ₹384 crores, a significant 91% year-on-year growth. EBITDA for the same period stood at ₹1,300 crores, marking a 51% increase compared to FY25.

Segment-Wise Performance

The company operates through three core business verticals, all of which contributed to the stellar annual results:

  • Powertrain: Generated ₹2,179 crores in revenue, reflecting a 20% growth with an EBIT of ₹361 crores.
  • Aluminium Products: Remained the largest contributor with ₹4,789 crores in revenue, a massive 58% growth, yielding an EBIT of ₹494 crores.
  • Industrial and Engineering: Recorded ₹1,102 crores in revenue with a 30% growth and an EBIT of ₹49 crores.

Operational Expansion and Capabilities

Craftsman Automation has solidified its position as an end-to-end solution provider with 28 manufacturing facilities across 9 Indian states, with additional presence in Germany. Total built-up area now exceeds 3.6 million sq. ft. Key developments during the 2024-2026 period include the full acquisition of DR Axion India Limited and Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Limited, as well as the strategic acquisition of Craftsman Fronberg Guss GmbH and Craftsman Germany GmbH to bolster international operations.

Strategic Outlook

The company maintains a strong focus on import substitution for critical powertrain parts and continues to invest in state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure. With a clear vision for growth, Craftsman is currently undertaking greenfield expansions at Bhiwadi, Kothavadi, and Hosur, while proposing a new satellite unit in Ludhiana to further strengthen its service delivery and customer proximity.
