Concord Biotech Announces Strong Q2 and H1 FY27 Performance
Concord Biotech Limited has revealed a strong financial performance for the second quarter and the first half of the fiscal year 2027. The company reported a notable 25% year-on-year increase in revenues for Q2 FY27, amounting to ₹309.1 crore, compared to ₹247.1 crore in the corresponding period of FY26. This momentum carried into the first half of the year, with revenues growing by 26% to ₹566.6 crore from ₹451.1 crore in the same period last year.
Broad-Based Growth Across Segments
The company highlighted that the growth was particularly encouraging due to its broad-based nature, spanning every product category and geography. Key segments such as immunosuppressants, anti-infectives, antifungal, and oncology all demonstrated growth. The anti-infective, antifungal, and oncology segments showed faster percentage growth due to increased market penetration of recently commercialized products. The oncology business, in particular, nearly doubled compared to the prior year’s corresponding period.
API and Formulation Performance
API revenue saw a robust 30% year-on-year growth in the quarter, reaching ₹250.1 crore, while formulation revenue grew by 6% to ₹58.9 crore. The domestic formulation business delivered a strong 29% growth in Q2 FY27. While overall formulation revenue growth was modest, it was attributed to shifts in procurement strategies in emerging markets and the transition of business to its US subsidiary.

The company also successfully completed a USFDA inspection of its Unit-II formulation facility and received ANVISA approval for its Unit-III facility. The launch of its dermatology division, Inspira, marks an expansion into science-led skin health solutions.
