Cipla Limited has secured exclusive rights to develop and commercialize Rolditamig Deuderuxtecan (TQB2102), a potential best-in-class HER2 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), from Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited’s subsidiary, CTTQ. The agreement covers development and commercialization in India, South Africa, and five other emerging markets. This collaboration aims to accelerate patient access to this innovative oncology treatment.
Exclusive Licensing Agreement for Oncology Asset
Cipla Limited announced on August 31, 2026, an exclusive license and supply agreement with Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited’s subsidiary, Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (CTTQ). This partnership grants Cipla the rights to develop and commercialize Rolditamig Deuderuxtecan, also known as TQB2102, a promising HER2 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC).
Geographic Focus and Responsibilities
Under the terms of the agreement, Cipla will hold exclusive rights for the development and commercialization of TQB2102 in India, South Africa, and five additional emerging markets. Cipla will be responsible for local clinical development, regulatory affairs, and all commercialization activities within these territories. CTTQ will continue to manage the manufacturing and supply of TQB2102.
Strategic Importance for Oncology Portfolio
TQB2102 is currently being evaluated across various HER2-expressing cancers, showing encouraging clinical potential in HER2-low advanced breast cancer. This collaboration is set to enhance Cipla’s oncology portfolio by integrating a differentiated, late-stage oncology asset. The partnership aims to expedite local development and regulatory approvals, thereby accelerating patient access to this innovative treatment across the licensed markets.

About Rolditamig Deuderuxtecan (TQB2102)
Rolditamig Deuderuxtecan (TQB2102) is a next-generation HER2 dual-epitope bispecific ADC. It is designed to simultaneously bind to the ECD II and ECD IV domains of HER2, incorporating a cleavable linker and a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload. This unique design aims to overcome limitations of conventional HER2 monoclonal antibodies or single-target ADCs, potentially offering differentiated advantages in treating HER2-low expressing cancers. The drug has received three Breakthrough Therapy Designations from China’s National Medical Products Administration and is under evaluation for HER2-low, HER2-positive breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and biliary tract cancer.
