Century Plyboards (India) Limited has achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue, reporting ₹1,561 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27). This marks a significant 33.5% year-on-year growth, driven by robust business momentum across its major operational segments.
Key Financial Highlights
The company’s EBITDA margin, excluding forex losses, saw an improvement, rising to 13.0% in Q1 FY27, up from 12.5% in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY25-26). Furthermore, the Profit After Tax (PAT) demonstrated strong growth, increasing by 57% year-on-year to ₹83.3 crore, compared to ₹52.9 crore in Q1 FY25-26.
Segment Performance
Plywood: The segment continued its trend of sustainable growth, with revenue increasing by 8.9% QoQ and 32.4% YoY. The EBITDA margin for plywood stood at a healthy 16.9%.
Laminates: This segment maintained its strong performance, with revenue growing by 0.5% QoQ and 14.7% YoY. The EBITDA margin was reported at 10.2%.
MDF: Despite a planned shutdown for capacity expansion at one plant, leading to a 6.2% QoQ decline, the segment achieved a strong year-on-year revenue growth of 28.9%. The EBITDA margin was 7.0%.
Particle Board (PB): This segment continued its growth trajectory, posting a 15.2% QoQ increase and an impressive 155.7% YoY revenue growth. The EBITDA margin was 3.7%.
