Ceigall India Limited, through a joint venture, has secured four Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) for road construction packages on NH-913 in Arunachal Pradesh. The aggregate bid cost for these projects is ₹2,149.62 crore. These contracts, awarded on an EPC basis, will be executed over periods of 36 to 48 months, including a five-year maintenance period.

Ceigall India Limited (CIL), in a significant development for its infrastructure segment, has been awarded four Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH). These contracts are for the construction of multiple road packages along NH-913, referred to as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh. The total value of these awarded projects amounts to ₹2,149.62 crore.
Joint Venture and Project Details
The projects are being undertaken by a joint venture where Ceigall India Limited holds a 74% stake, with Sushee Infra Mining Limited holding the remaining 26%. The contracts have been secured on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis. The scope involves the development of Intermediate Lane roads across key sections of the highway.
Contract Breakdown:
- Construction of the road from km 0.000 to km 55.725 of the Huri-Taliha section, with a bid cost of ₹521 crore.
- Construction of the road from km 0.000 to km 78.38 of the Sarli-Huri section, with a bid cost of ₹611.10 crore.
- Construction of the road from km 55.725 to km 113.25 of the Huri-Taliha section, with a bid cost of ₹525 crore.
- Construction of the road from km 160.75 to km 209.90 of the Huri-Taliha section, with a bid cost of ₹492.52 crore.
Project Timelines and Strategic Importance
The first, second, and fourth packages are slated for completion within 36 months, while the third package has a construction period of 48 months. Each project also includes a mandatory five-year maintenance period. Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director, expressed pleasure in securing these packages, noting that they further strengthen the company’s presence in India’s road infrastructure development and highlight its capability in executing complex projects.
These new contracts are expected to bolster Ceigall India’s order book and reinforce its position in the road and highway infrastructure segment, adding significantly to its portfolio of EPC projects.
