Ceigall India Limited Executes Concession Agreement for Ambala-Chandigarh-Zirakpur Road Project

Ceigall India Limited announces the execution of a Concession Agreement for the “Construction of 6-lane access controlled Spur connectivity starting from Ch. 15+100 of Ambala Chandigarh section of NH-205A and terminating at Ch. 2+500 of Zirakpur Bypass (Total length 10.300 Km) under NH(O)” in Punjab. The project, undertaken by its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), “CEIGALL AMBALA CHANDIGARH ZIRAKPUR LIMITED”, has an estimated cost of ₹603.00 Crores (Excluding GST) and a completion period of 18 Months, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance period.

Project Agreement Signed

Ceigall India Limited has formally executed a Concession Agreement for a significant infrastructure project. The agreement was signed by its Project Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), “CEIGALL AMBALA CHANDIGARH ZIRAKPUR LIMITED”, with the National Highways Authority of India on June 09, 2026.

Project Details

The project involves the construction of a 6-lane access-controlled spur. This will connect from Chainage 15+100 of the Ambala Chandigarh section of NH-205A and will terminate at Chainage 2+500 of the Zirakpur Bypass. The total length of this new stretch is 10.300 Km and it falls under the “NH(O)” category in the state of Punjab.

Estimated Costs and Timeline

The estimated project cost for this development is ₹603.00 Crores, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST). The project is planned with a construction period of 18 Months. Following the construction phase, it will enter an operation and maintenance period of 15 Years.

Project Mode

The project will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).
