CEAT Limited To Incorporate Subsidiaries in the UK and Germany

The Finance and Banking Committee of CEAT Limited has approved the incorporation of two new subsidiaries. A wholly-owned subsidiary (WOS) will be established in the United Kingdom, and a step-down subsidiary will be set up in Germany. The decision was made at a meeting held on December 23, 2025. These moves are aimed at expanding CEAT’s global footprint.

Global Expansion Strategy

CEAT Limited is set to expand its global presence with the establishment of two new subsidiaries in key European markets. The Finance and Banking Committee (FBC) has given the green light for this strategic move, marking a significant step in the company’s international growth strategy.

Details of New Entities

Two entities will be incorporated:

  1. A Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) in the United Kingdom: This subsidiary aims to strengthen CEAT’s presence in the UK market.
  2. A Step-Down Subsidiary in Germany: This entity will operate under CEAT Tyres B.V. Netherlands and is designed to enhance CEAT’s capabilities in the German market.

United Kingdom Subsidiary

The subsidiary in the United Kingdom, tentatively named CEAT UK Limited, will have an initial capital of GBP 15,000. CEAT Limited will hold 100% of the shareholding. The entity will be engaged in automotive tyres, tubes, flaps, tracks and assembly related products/activities.

German Subsidiary

The proposed entity in Germany, tentatively named CEAT GMBH, will have an initial capital of EUR 25,000. It will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of CEAT Tyres B.V. Netherlands. The entity will be involved in automotive tyres, tubes, flaps, tracks, product development, assembly, R&D and other ancillary related products/activities.
