Capri Global Capital: Raises $300 Million in Maiden Dollar Bond

Capri Global Capital Limited has successfully completed its first-ever US Dollar bond issuance, raising US$ 300 million. The Senior Secured Notes mature in 2029 and the issuance was oversubscribed by over 2.3x, with an order book exceeding US$ 700 million. This marks a significant step in diversifying the company’s funding sources.

Capri Global Capital Completes Maiden US Dollar Bond Issuance

Capri Global Capital Limited, a prominent Non-Banking Financial Company, has announced the successful completion of its inaugural US Dollar bond issuance. The company raised a total of US$ 300 million through Senior Secured Notes, which are set to mature in 2029. This significant financial milestone underscores the company’s strategic growth initiatives and its increasing access to international capital markets.

Oversubscribed Issue and Investor Confidence

The maiden bond issuance garnered substantial investor interest, being oversubscribed by more than 2.3 times. The order book for the issuance exceeded US$ 700 million, demonstrating strong confidence from 64 high-quality accounts. Notably, the issue saw significant allocations to global real money investors, highlighting the international appeal of Capri Global Capital’s credit strength and business model.

Diversification of Funding Sources

Speaking on the milestone, Mr. Rajesh Sharma, Managing Director of Capri Global Capital Limited, stated, “As we continue to scale and grow, this debut US Dollar bond issuance marks a significant step forward. The strong response from marquee international investors is a validation of our credit strength and business model, allowing us to successfully diversify our funding sources across domestic and global pools of capital.”

Investor Allocation and Geographic Reach

Geographically, the allocation of the bonds was led by investors from the US (49%), followed by Asia (39%), and EMEA (12%). By investor type, Asset Managers and Fund Managers accounted for the largest share at 91%, with Insurance companies making up 5% and Banks, Private Banks, and others comprising the remaining 4%. This broad investor base signifies the company’s expanding global financial footprint.

The success of this issuance is expected to provide greater diversification across domestic and international sources of funding. This reinforces Capri Global’s commitment to sustainable expansion and its ability to access diverse capital pools to fuel future growth and operations.
