Brigade Enterprises Limited has officially announced its entry into the Coimbatore real estate market. The company plans to launch a new residential development project situated on a 5.4-acre land parcel in Saravanampatti. This venture is structured as a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with the land owner.
Significant GDV and Strategic Location
The estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) for this project is approximately ₹600 Crores. The project’s location is strategically positioned within Coimbatore’s IT corridor, offering convenient access to Special Economic Zones (SEZs), IT parks, educational institutions, retail malls, and hospitals. This move is expected to bolster Brigade’s residential portfolio in South India.

Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises, highlighted Coimbatore’s strong fundamentals as a high-growth real estate market, citing its diversified economy, talent pool, and infrastructure investments. She stated that the city’s growth trajectory is expected to accelerate demand for quality real estate, making this entry a strategic move for Brigade’s expansion across South India.
