Bridge Securities Limited: Renamed to Weorg Enterprises and Alters Business Objects

The company will be renamed Weorg Enterprises Limited, subject to regulatory approvals. Additionally, the Memorandum of Association (MOA) is being amended to rationalize and align business objectives with proposed activities, including expanding into farming and agriculture-related businesses. The Board also approved reconstitutions of key committees and announced the appointment of a new director.

Bridge Securities Renamed to Weorg Enterprises

Following a Board Meeting held on August 27, 2026, Bridge Securities Limited has decided to change its name to Weorg Enterprises Limited. This proposed name change is subject to availability and approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs or any other competent authority, signaling a potential new direction for the company.

Rationalization of Business Objectives

The company’s Board of Directors has approved the alteration of the Object Clause within the Memorandum of Association (MOA). This involves deleting existing Object Nos. 1 to 4 from the Main Object Clause (III)(A) and re-numbering the remaining clauses. The objective is to rationalize and align the business objects with the company’s proposed activities, particularly emphasizing a broader scope in farming and agriculture. This includes carrying on business as farmers, producers of various agricultural commodities, and engaging in related trade through contract basis. The company has detailed these alterations in Annexure A.

Key Board Decisions and Appointments

In addition to the name change and MOA alteration, the Board took note of the resignation of Mr. Manish Shrichand Bachani as Non-Executive and Independent Director, effective August 27, 2026. Mr. Bachani confirmed there were no material reasons for his resignation other than personal reasons. Subsequently, Mr. Sanketkumar Dave was appointed as an Additional Non-Executive and Independent Director, also effective August 27, 2026.

Committee Reconstitutions

The Board also approved the reconstitution of three key committees effective August 27, 2026:

  • Audit Committee (AC): Ms. Urvi Rajnikant Shah (Chairperson), Mr. Sanketkumar Dave (Member), and Mr. Harshad Amrutlal Panchal (Member).
  • Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC): Mr. Sanketkumar Dave (Chairperson), Ms. Urvi Rajnikant Shah (Member), and Mr. Ashvinkumar Babulal Thakkar (Member).
  • Stakeholder Relationship Committee: Ms. Urvi Rajnikant Shah (Chairperson), Mr. Sanketkumar Dave (Member), and Mr. Ashvinkumar Babulal Thakkar (Member).

Annual General Meeting Scheduled

The 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company is scheduled to be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. (IST) through Video Conferencing or Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM).
