Blue Star Limited FY26 Revenue Grows to Rs 12,402 Crores Amid Market Challenges

Blue Star Limited has reported a resilient performance for FY26, with revenue from operations growing by 3.6% to Rs 12,402 crores. Despite a challenging year marked by unseasonal weather affecting the Room AC business, the company saw a 6.2% growth in operating profit (PBIDTA excluding other income) to Rs 930 crores. Blue Star also declared a dividend of Rs 8.5 per equity share, underscoring its commitment to shareholder value.

Full-Year Financial Highlights

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Blue Star Limited achieved a consolidated revenue of Rs 12,401.99 crores, representing a 3.6% increase over the previous year. The company’s focus on cost management led to an operating profit (PBIDTA excluding other income) of Rs 930.41 crores, a 6.2% improvement compared to FY25. Net profit for the year stood at Rs 527.33 crores.

Performance by Quarter

The final quarter, Q4FY26 (January–March 2026), was particularly strong, with revenue growing 1.3% to Rs 4,072.06 crores compared to the same period in the previous year. Operating profit for the quarter surged by 16.8% to Rs 326.25 crores. This positive momentum was largely driven by a significant pick-up in demand for Room Air Conditioners toward the end of the year and robust performance across multiple business segments.

Segment Breakdown

The Electro-Mechanical Projects and Commercial Air Conditioning segment saw strong growth, with revenue rising by 12.8% to Rs 6,762.80 crores. While the Unitary Products business faced headwinds due to an early monsoon and a mild summer, it ended the year with Rs 5,332.36 crores in revenue. Meanwhile, the Professional Electronics and Industrial Systems division reported revenue of Rs 306.83 crores.

Strategic Outlook

The company maintains a cautiously optimistic outlook for FY27. Leadership noted that the onset of summer in mid-April 2026 has already initiated a steady recovery in consumer sales. Despite concerns regarding volatile commodity costs and exchange rates, the company remains focused on operational efficiency and sustaining growth across its manufacturing and data center business sectors.
