The company’s consolidated total income reached ₹4,391 crore, marking a 9% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by a strong performance in the Biopharma business.

The company reported a consolidated EBITDA of ₹902 crore, with a margin of 21%. A significant highlight was the Net Profit before exceptional items, which saw a substantial surge of 245% to ₹145 crore. The reported Net Profit for the period stood at ₹141 crore, representing an impressive 355% year-on-year growth.
Revenue Breakdown
Consolidated operating revenue increased by 10% YoY to ₹4,336 crore. The Biopharma segment showed remarkable growth, with revenue up 17% YoY, fueled by recent biosimilar and generic product launches. Biosimilars revenue grew by 16% to ₹2,855 crore, and Generics revenue saw a 21% increase to ₹760 crore. Conversely, Services revenue decreased by 16% to ₹736 crore due to ongoing market challenges.

Operational Achievements
The press release also detailed several business performance updates. In North America, growth was driven by the ramp-up of biosimilars Bosaya™ and Aukelso™, with the commercialization of Yesafili™ and generic Liraglutide. In Europe, the company commercialized biosimilars Evfraxy® and Abevmy®. Biocon also secured regulatory approval for Yesafili™ in Malaysia.
Balance Sheet Strength
Interest costs were reduced by 23% YoY to ₹213 crore, reflecting actions taken to strengthen Biocon’s balance sheet. The company is preparing to host an Earnings Call on August 6, 2026, to discuss its performance and answer investor queries.
