BIKAJI FOODS: Approves JV Investment & UAE Subsidiary for Global Expansion

BIKAJI FOODS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED has announced several strategic initiatives aimed at expanding its global footprint. The Board of Directors approved an investment of up to ₹15 crore in a Nepal-based joint venture, C.G. Bikaji Private Limited. Additionally, the company will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to optimize international supply chain operations. These moves underscore BIKAJI’s commitment to international growth and market penetration.

In a significant move towards international expansion, BIKAJI FOODS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED’s Board of Directors has approved key strategic initiatives. These decisions, made on August 05, 2026, are set to bolster the company’s presence in key overseas markets.

Joint Venture Investment in Nepal

The Board has approved an investment of up to ₹15,00,00,000 (₹15 crore) in C.G. Bikaji Private Limited, a joint venture company based in Nepal. This investment aligns with the company’s strategy to synergize expertise and expand its manufacturing, trading, and marketing operations within Nepal. The joint venture, C.G. Bikaji Private Limited, will be equally owned by BIKAJI FOODS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED and C.G. Savory Corp Private Limited, with operations expected to commence in the near future.

Establishment of UAE Subsidiary

Furthering its global ambitions, BIKAJI FOODS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This entity, proposed to be named “BIKAJI FOODS INTERNATIONAL UAE LIMITED”, aims to strengthen and optimize the company’s international supply chain operations, particularly targeting the Middle Eastern market. The investment in this subsidiary is planned to be up to AED 1,00,00,000 (approximately ₹1 crore), with the entity yet to be incorporated.

Employee Stock Options

In a move to incentivize its workforce, the company also approved the grant of 1,00,000 stock options to eligible employees under the Bikaji Employees Stock Option Scheme 2021. These options are to be exercised at ₹500 per option and will vest over three years, with 40% vesting on the first anniversary, 30% on the second, and 30% on the third. The exercise price has been set at ₹500 per stock option.
