Bharti Airtel Q4 FY26 Performance Highlights Strong Revenue and EBITDA Growth

Bharti Airtel reported robust growth for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, with consolidated revenues reaching Rs 553,832 Mn, marking a 16% year-on-year increase. Consolidated EBITDA rose by 17% YoY to Rs 320,382 Mn, with an improved margin of 57.8%. The company’s total customer base expanded to 666 million. Key highlights include a $1 billion investment in Nxtra and the launch of a high-scale NBFC platform.

Consolidated Financial Performance

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Bharti Airtel delivered a strong performance with annual consolidated revenues of Rs 2,109,728 Mn, a 16% growth compared to the previous year. The annual EBITDA stood at Rs 1,212,676 Mn, up 15%. For the fourth quarter (Q4), net income before exceptional items increased by 39% YoY to Rs 72,447 Mn, reflecting operational efficiency and sustained growth across segments.

Segmental Growth Drivers

The India & South Asia business continues to be a cornerstone, with annual revenues of Rs 1,550,658 Mn, growing 10.3%. The segment’s EBITDA for the year reached Rs 931,966 Mn. Africa operations also showed significant strength, with constant currency revenues growing by 24% YoY to $6,112 Mn, supported by a 31% increase in annual EBITDA.

Strategic Initiatives and Investments

Bharti Airtel has accelerated its digital and financial service ambitions. The company announced a $1 billion investment in its data center subsidiary, Nxtra, backed by Alpha Wave Global, Carlyle, and Anchorage Capital. Furthermore, the company is set to build a high-scale Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) platform, Airtel Money Limited, with a planned capital infusion of Rs 20,000 crore over the coming years to bridge the credit gap in India.

Technology and Innovation

In a move to strengthen digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, the company partnered with Zscaler to launch an AI & Cyber Threat Research Center. Additionally, the company is enhancing customer value by providing free access to Adobe Express Premium to 360 million customers, further solidifying its position in the digital ecosystem.
