Bharat Forge: Raises ₹20,000 Million via QIP

Bharat Forge Limited has successfully completed a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), raising ₹20,000 million (approximately ₹2,000 crore). The company allotted 1,05,82,010 equity shares of face value ₹2 each at an issue price of ₹1,890.00 per share to eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers. This strategic fundraising will enhance the company’s capital base and support its future growth initiatives.

Bharat Forge Completes Significant Qualified Institutions Placement

Bharat Forge Limited has announced the successful completion of its Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP). The placement saw the allotment of 1,05,82,010 equity shares, each with a face value of ₹2. The issue price was set at ₹1,890.00 per equity share, which included a discount of ₹57.70 per share over the floor price. This issuance has collectively raised a substantial amount of ₹20,000 million (Twenty Thousand million) for the company.

Capital Infusion and Shareholder Impact

The QIP was approved by the company’s Investment Committee on September 22, 2026. Following this allotment, the subscribed and fully paid-up equity share capital of Bharat Forge Limited has increased. Prior to the issue, the company’s equity stood at ₹956,177,264 (478,088,632 equity shares of ₹2 each). Post-allotment, the equity capital now amounts to ₹977,341,284, comprising 488,670,642 equity shares of ₹2 each.

The company has also provided a list of allottees who received more than 5% of the equity shares offered in the placement as an annexure to this disclosure. The detailed shareholding pattern, before and after the QIP, will be submitted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
