Shri Ambrish Tripathi’s Profile
Shri Ambrish Tripathi brings extensive experience to his new role. He joined BEL in 1991 after completing his B. Tech. (Electronics & Communication) from NIT Allahabad. His career at BEL spans various crucial areas including Production, Material Management, Marketing, and Information Systems. He has been instrumental in implementing SAP across BEL and pioneering File Lifecycle Management for digital file creation. His notable achievements include leading the implementation of Virtual Desktop Infra (VDI) and adapting new technologies like AI and Blockchain. He was also recognized with a Home Ministry Award for ‘Implementation of Best IT Process for prevention of corruption’.
Shri Anoop Kumar Rai’s Profile
Shri Anoop Kumar Rai joins the board with a strong background in Defence & niche technologies. He took charge as Director (Marketing) after serving as Executive Director (CRL-Ghaziabad) since August 01, 2025. With a career spanning 33 years, he is recognized as a visionary leader in bridging the gap between complex military requirements and indigenous technological breakthroughs. His achievements include spearheading the development of the AI-powered ‘Saksham’ Drone Warfare System and conceptualizing the AI based Command Information & Decision Support System (CIDSS). He has also championed diversification into AI-driven civilian infrastructure and played a pivotal role in the conceptualization and deployment of advanced technologies in the IACCS Project.
