Bank of Baroda: Raises USD 700 Million Via Senior Unsecured Notes

Bank of Baroda has successfully concluded the issuance of Senior Unsecured Fixed Rate Notes, raising a total of USD 700 million. The issuance comprises USD 400 million with a 3-year maturity at a 5.114% p.a. coupon and USD 300 million with a 5-year maturity at a 5.318% p.a. coupon. These bonds will be issued via its IFSCBU branch on August 20, 2026, and listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, India INX, and NSE-IX.

Bank of Baroda Concludes USD 700 Million Debt Issuance

Bank of Baroda has announced the successful conclusion of its Senior Unsecured Fixed Rate Notes issuance, a key component of its Medium Term Note (MTN) programme. This issuance has raised a total of USD 700 million. The funds will support the bank’s ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

Issuance Details

The debt issuance is structured into two tranches:

  • A tranche of USD 400 million, maturing in 3 years, carrying a coupon rate of 5.114% per annum.
  • A tranche of USD 300 million, maturing in 5 years, with a coupon rate of 5.318% per annum.

Interest payments for both tranches will be made on a semi-annual basis. The issuance is conducted under Regulations – S.

Listing and Issuance Details

These bonds are set to be issued through Bank of Baroda’s IFSCBU branch on August 20, 2026. Following the issuance, the notes will be listed on multiple exchanges, including the Singapore Stock Exchange, India INX, and the NSE -IX Exchange Gift City. This diversification in listing aims to enhance accessibility and liquidity for the bonds.
