The company reported a standalone net profit of ₹347.21 crore and a consolidated net profit of ₹378.46 crore for the year. Furthermore, the Board has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Vivek Saraogi as Chairman and Managing Director and Ms. Avantika Saraogi as Executive Director for the next five years, strengthening its leadership foundation.

For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, Balrampur Chini Mills Limited delivered a robust financial performance. The company generated revenue from operations of ₹6,271.15 crore on both a standalone and consolidated basis. The standalone profit before tax for the year stood at ₹523.69 crore, with a consolidated profit before tax reaching ₹560.15 crore. These figures reflect the company’s resilient operations across its sugar, distillery, and polylactic acid (PLA) segments.
Strategic Leadership Re-appointments
In a move to ensure long-term stability and continued growth, the Board of Directors has approved the re-appointment of key leadership personnel. Mr. Vivek Saraogi has been re-appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director for a period of five years, commencing April 1, 2027. Additionally, Ms. Avantika Saraogi has been re-appointed as Executive Director for a five-year term, effective January 1, 2027. Both appointments are subject to shareholder approval.
Diversification and Growth Initiatives
The company continues to expand its reach beyond traditional sugar manufacturing. Under the guidance of its leadership, Balrampur Chini Mills has successfully diversified into the distillery business and is pioneering sustainable innovations, such as the PLA project and the ‘Balrampur Bioyug’ bio-plastic brand. Furthermore, the Board has approved a preferential issuance of up to 9,316,771 equity shares at an issue price of ₹483 per share, aimed at raising approximately ₹450 crore to support the company’s future growth strategy and business conglomerate goals.
