Balrampur Chini Mills Limited has announced its financial results for the year ended March 31, 2026, showcasing a robust performance across its key business segments.
Revenue Growth
The company reported a significant 15.80% increase in revenues to ₹6,271.15 crore in FY 25-26, compared to ₹5,415.38 crore in the previous year. This growth was driven by higher sales volumes and realisations in both the sugar and distillery divisions. Sugar revenues saw an increase of 12.45%, while distillery revenues rose by 20.35%.
Profitability and Financial Health
Profit for the year stood at ₹34,721.74 Lakhs, a slight increase from the previous year’s profit of ₹34,388.11 Lakhs. The company’s net worth also saw a healthy increase of 8.82% to ₹3,839.30 crore as on March 31, 2026, reflecting the ploughing back of profits.
Capital Deployment
The capital employed in the Company increased by 18.23% to ₹5,142.29 crore as on 31st March, 2026, from ₹4,349.37 crore as on 31st March, 2025. This increase is primarily attributed to the ongoing PLA Project.
Debt Management
The Company’s long-term debt stood at ₹1,000.50 crore as on 31st March, 2026, a significant increase from the previous year’s ₹581.50 crore. This increase is mainly due to increased borrowings availed for the PLA project.
Outlook
The company aims to improve plant efficiencies and deepen its research and development, strengthening efficiencies. Its focus for the coming season will be on ratoon crop management, increased cane area, enhanced yield focus and modern farm practices. Balrampur is optimistic of improved yields from new cane varieties.
