Bajaj Electricals Q4 FY’26 Financial Results and Strategic Overview

Bajaj Electricals has released its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a Q4 FY’26 revenue of ₹1,240 crore and a negative working capital position, maintaining a healthy cash position with ₹934 crore in cash and surplus investments.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, Bajaj Electricals reported a revenue from operations of ₹1,240 crore, compared to ₹1,265 crore in the same period last year. The profit before tax for the quarter stood at (₹52 crore), impacted by ₹59 crore in exceptional items, which included provisions for impairment of goodwill and moulds and dies. For the full FY’26, the company recorded a revenue of ₹4,462 crore.

Segment Breakdown

The company experienced a mixed performance across its core segments:

  • Lighting Solutions: This segment performed strongly with 16% YoY growth in Q4, driven by advancements in both Consumer and Professional Lighting categories.
  • Consumer Products: This segment saw a 7% de-growth on a year-on-year basis, primarily due to high channel inventory of summer products, despite strong performance in kitchen appliances.

Operational Highlights and Cash Position

Bajaj Electricals continues to maintain a robust balance sheet. The company reported healthy cash flow from operations of ₹397 crore for the quarter. As of the end of the fiscal year, the total cash, cash equivalents, and surplus investments stood at ₹934 crore. Management continues to prioritize cost optimization strategies, focusing on variable costs, ‘spend-as-you-earn’ initiatives, and ring-fencing core expenses to improve overall efficiency.

Strategic Initiatives

Beyond financial results, the company remains active in market expansion. During the quarter, Bajaj Electricals launched 5 new SKUs in the consumer segment, including the Bajaj 3000TMC (30L) OTG. Additionally, the company successfully executed multiple professional lighting projects, including industrial lighting for Shivam Packaging and Waaree Energies, as well as decorative street lighting and façade illumination projects in Nagpur.
