Ashok Leyland has announced its sales figures for the month of July 2026, showcasing significant year-on-year growth across its product categories. Total sales for the month stood at 19,590 units, marking a substantial 30% increase over the 15,064 units sold in July 2025. This performance reflects strong market demand and the company’s expanding reach.
Domestic Sales Momentum
The domestic market demonstrated particularly strong performance, with total sales reaching 17,980 units in July 2026, up from 13,501 units in the previous year, an increase of 33%. Within the domestic segment, Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) trucks recorded a remarkable 43% growth, with sales of 9,323 units compared to 6,518 units in July 2025. M&HCV buses also saw an increase of 6%, with sales of 1,727 units.
Domestic + Exports Performance
On a combined domestic and export basis, total sales for July 2026 were 19,590 units, a 30% increase from 15,064 units in July 2025. The M&HCV truck category, when including exports, saw a 47% rise in sales to 9,809 units. Total M&HCV sales for domestic and exports combined reached 12,270 units, a 29% increase. Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) also performed well, with domestic sales growing by 29% and combined domestic and exports up by 32%.
