Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands: Q1 FY27 Revenue Surges 11% to ₹2,046 Crore

The Lifestyle Brands segment grew 10% to ₹1,725 crore, while Emerging Brands surged 19% to ₹332 crore. Consolidated EBITDA increased by 14% to ₹327 crore, with margins expanding by 50 basis points to 16%. The company also expanded its retail footprint to 3,362 stores.

Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABLBL) has reported robust financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27), ending June 30, 2026. The company achieved a consolidated revenue of ₹2,046 crore, marking an 11% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was attributed to healthy consumer traction across categories and channels, despite some moderation due to the adhik maas. This marks ABLBL’s third consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, accompanied by an expansion in profitability and margins.

Segment-wise Growth Highlights

The revenue growth was driven by strong performances across its business segments. The Lifestyle Brands segment recorded a 10% year-on-year growth, contributing ₹1,725 crore to the total revenue. The Emerging Brands portfolio, which includes brands like Reebok, Van Heusen Innerwear, and American Eagle, demonstrated significant momentum with a 19% year-on-year increase, reaching ₹332 crore.

Channel Performance and Expansion

Across channels, retail continued its strong performance with 10% growth, supported by 8% like-to-like growth for seven consecutive quarters. E-commerce also saw substantial traction, growing by 23%. While the wholesale channel grew by 5%, the underlying secondary growth was in the early double-digits. ABLBL’s consolidated EBITDA rose by 14% to ₹327 crore from ₹286 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with EBITDA margins expanding by 50 basis points to 16%. Profit After Tax (PAT) saw a 21% growth to ₹29 crore.

The company expanded its retail footprint significantly, opening more than 65 new stores during the quarter. At the end of Q1 FY27, ABLBL’s retail network comprised 3,362 stores spanning approximately 5 million square feet across over 800 cities and towns. The company is confident of achieving its target of adding more than 300 stores during the current fiscal year.

Outlook and Strategy

Looking ahead, ABLBL’s priorities include strengthening its business model to achieve sustained double-digit growth, driving margin expansion, and enhancing cash generation through focused execution. The company remains optimistic about navigating the dynamic external environment due to its diversified brand and channel mix, disciplined execution, and focus on efficiency.
