Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced the operationalization of a new 139 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat. This development brings AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity to 20,280.80 MW, along with an operational BESS capacity of 3,551 MWh. The project was commercially operationalized on September 01, 2026, reinforcing AGEL’s expansion in the renewable energy sector.

New Solar Project Boosts Capacity

Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited, a wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has successfully operationalized a new solar power project. The project, with a capacity of 139 MW, is located in Khavda, Gujarat. This significant milestone contributes to AGEL’s expanding portfolio of renewable energy assets.

AGEL’s Growing Renewable Portfolio

With the commissioning of this new project, AGEL has achieved a substantial total operational renewable generation capacity of 20,280.80 MW. In addition to solar power, the company also boasts an operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 3,551 MWh. The decision to commercially operationalize the Khavda plant was made on September 01, 2026, at 2:05 p.m.
