The company reported a remarkable 63.3% year-on-year increase in total revenue, reaching INR 954 crore for Q1 FY27. This surge in revenue is attributed to higher irradiation, improved plant performance, and the addition of renewable energy (RE) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity.
Key Financial Highlights
The company achieved its highest-ever revenue and EBITDA for a single quarter. EBITDA for Q1 FY27 stood at INR 831 crore, marking a 56.5% increase from the previous year. The EBITDA margin was reported at 87.1%. Profit After Tax (PAT) also saw significant growth, increasing by 79.9% to INR 235 crore, with a PAT margin of 24.7%. Cash PAT was recorded at INR 390 crore, up 53.4% year-on-year.
Operational Achievements and Business Updates
ACME Solar reported several key operational achievements and business updates for Q1 FY27. The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly Canopy Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) at 30.9%. Significant progress was made in signing PPAs, with 600 MW of FDRE/Hybrid PPAs secured with SECI, adding to the total Uniform Capacity (UC) PPA signed capacity of 3,880 MW. Approximately 2.3 GWh of BESS capacity was commissioned, bringing the total commissioned BESS capacity to about 3.62 GWh. The phased operationalization of 3.1 GWh of BESS capacity generated revenue of INR 226 crore in Q1 FY27. Furthermore, ACME Solar secured bids for short-term contracts with an estimated revenue lock-in of INR 1,400+ crore for the partial sale of FY27 BESS capacity.
