ABB India: Reports Record Q2 Orders and 21% Revenue Growth

ABB India Achieves Record Orders and Strong Revenue Growth in Q2 CY2026

ABB India Limited has announced its financial results for the second quarter (April-June) of CY2026, demonstrating a period of strong performance characterized by record order intake and significant revenue growth. The company reported a 50% year-over-year increase in orders, reaching an all-time high of INR 4,363 crore for the quarter. For the first half of the year, total orders stood at INR 8,643 crore, up 36%.

Key Financial Highlights

Total revenues for Q2 CY2026 grew by 21% to INR 3,559 crore, compared to INR 2,940 crore in the same period last year. For the first six months of CY2026, revenues reached INR 6,743 crore, a 13% increase. Profit after tax for the quarter was reported at INR 370 crore, an 8% rise year-over-year. Operational EBITA for the quarter was INR 461 crore, up 23%.

Dividend Declaration

Reflecting strong operational profits and the proceeds from the Robotics divestment, the Board of Directors has declared a special dividend of INR 90.00 per equity share, with a face value of INR 2.00 each, for H1 CY2026.

Order Backlog and Outlook

ABB India’s order backlog at the end of the quarter stood at a robust INR 11,898 crore, marking a 22% increase and providing good revenue visibility for the coming quarters. The company noted that growth was led by base orders in Electrification and increased export orders in Motion and Automation. Key order drivers included infrastructure, data centers, and renewable energy projects.

Sustainability Focus

The company also highlighted its continued commitment to sustainability, achieving 99.7% of waste diverted from landfill in H1 CY2026. ABB India was recognized as India’s Most Sustainable Company in the Capital Goods category at the Business Today India’s Most Sustainable Companies Awards 2026.
