Aavas Financiers has announced the appointment of Manu Yeshpal Singh as the new Managing Director & CEO, effective April 21, 2026. This leadership transition follows a comprehensive succession process aimed at steering the company into its next phase of growth. Mr. Singh joins with over 25 years of experience in the retail lending sector. Outgoing CEO Sachinder Bhinder will continue to support the company in a senior advisory capacity.

Aavas Financiers is set to undergo a leadership transition, with the Board of Directors appointing Manu Yeshpal Singh to lead the company. Mr. Singh joins the organization from Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he previously served as President – Business Head, Housing Finance. His extensive career includes significant tenures at Tata Capital and ICICI Bank, bringing a deep background in retail lending, credit, operations, and risk management to his new role.

The appointment reflects Aavas’s commitment to maintaining leadership continuity and operational excellence. Aavas concluded the fiscal year with strong operational momentum. For the quarter ending March 31, 2026, the company reported a 36% growth in disbursements on a quarter-on-quarter basis and a 16% year-on-year increase. With the addition of 38 new branches throughout the year, the company has successfully expanded its footprint to 435 branches nationwide, maintaining a robust asset quality throughout its expansion efforts.
