Harle has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shilpa Biologicals Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shilpa Medicare Limited. Dr. Harle’s Extensive Expertise
Dr. Harle brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with approximately 24 years in the global biopharmaceutical industry. His background includes over 18 years dedicated to biologics and biosimilars, and more than 14 years in leadership positions. His career highlights include extensive work across research and development, clinical development, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, commercialization, and business management.
Previously, Dr. Harle served as Chief Business Officer at Artemis Medicare Services Limited and Premedium Pharma. He has also held prominent positions such as Assistant Vice President & Global Head – Clinical Development at Amneal Group/Kashiv Biosciences, Global Head – Clinical Development at Abbott, and Associate Director & R&D Head at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. His expertise encompasses the entire biologics value chain, from portfolio strategy to P&L management.

Dr. Harle possesses significant global regulatory experience, having collaborated extensively with agencies including the USFDA, EMA, MHRA, Health Canada, and CDSCO. He has contributed to the development of over 10 biosimilars and 5 novel biologics. An accomplished author with approximately 40 scientific publications, 2 books, and 2 patents, Dr. Harle has also been recognized with several industry awards for his contributions to biopharmaceutical research and development.
