Aarti Drugs: Q1 FY27 Revenue Grows 19% to ₹703.6 Crore

Aarti Drugs Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a 19% year-on-year increase in total revenue, reaching ₹703.6 crore. Profit Before Tax (PBT) also saw a significant rise of 35%. The company highlighted growth across its segments, with Specialty Chemicals showing a remarkable 150% increase in revenue.

Aarti Drugs Reports Strong Q1 Performance

Mumbai-based Aarti Drugs Limited has released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of FY27, concluding on June 30, 2026. The diversified pharmaceutical company reported a robust performance, with Total Revenue climbing to ₹703.6 crore, a substantial 19% increase compared to ₹590.8 crore in Q1 FY26. This growth underscores the company’s expanding market presence and operational efficiency.

Key Financial Highlights

Consolidated Financial Performance

The company’s consolidated financial highlights reveal a strong trajectory. Gross Profit grew by 27% YoY to ₹276.0 crore, while EBITDA increased by 30% to ₹96.9 crore. Notably, EBITDA margin expanded by 120 basis points to 13.8%. Profit Before Tax (PBT) surged by 35% to ₹69.2 crore, with PBT margin also expanding by 120 basis points to 9.9%. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at ₹50.1 crore.

It is important to note that the Q1 FY27 EBITDA, PBT, and PAT figures include an additional expense of approximately ₹2 crore due to a CWIP write-off. For Q1 FY26, PAT included a principal tax refund of about ₹15 crore.

Segmental Performance Update

Aarti Drugs also provided a detailed segmental performance update. The API segment grew by 11% to ₹510.4 crore. The Formulation segment saw a 7% increase to ₹86.2 crore. The most significant growth was observed in the Specialty Chemicals segment, which recorded a phenomenal 150% year-on-year increase, reaching ₹82.6 crore. The Intermediates & Others segment also showed a healthy 26% growth to ₹24.3 crore.

Standalone Business and Commentary

On a standalone basis, revenue stood at ₹627.6 crore, marking a 20% YoY growth. The standalone business contributed 89% to the consolidated revenue, with domestic revenue growing 25% YoY and export revenue up by 12% YoY. The company’s API business saw strong performance across therapeutic categories. Revenue from formulations increased by 8% YoY to ₹81.60 crore.

Mr. Adhish Patil, CFO & COO, Aarti Drugs Limited, commented on the results, stating, “We began FY27 with a strong operational and financial performance, driven by a mix of volume growth and improved realizations across our API & Speciality Chemicals portfolio and disciplined execution.” He further highlighted the encouraging demand outlook and the company’s focus on operational efficiencies, capacity enhancement, and backward integration to strengthen margin performance.
