Maruti Suzuki India Limited has released its production data for July 2026, showcasing a robust performance with a total output of 248,845 vehicles. This figure marks a notable increase of 33% when compared to the 187,073 vehicles produced in the corresponding month of the previous year, July 2025.
Segment-wise Production Analysis
The detailed breakdown indicates strong contributions from various segments. Passenger vehicles production reached 244,445 units in July 2026, up from 183,285 units in July 2025. This growth is driven by significant increases in the ‘A: Compact’ segment, which produced 113,067 units compared to 87,950 units a year prior, and the ‘A: Passenger Cars’ sub-total rising to 127,031 units from 99,434 units.
Furthermore, the ‘B: Utility Vehicles’ segment saw a substantial rise, with 102,787 units produced in July 2026, a considerable jump from 70,241 units in July 2025. The ‘C: Vans’ segment also experienced growth, producing 14,627 units in July 2026, up from 13,610 units in the prior year.
Light Commercial Vehicles, specifically the Super Carry model, contributed 4,400 units in July 2026, an increase from 3,788 units in July 2025. These figures highlight Maruti Suzuki’s expanding production capacity and market demand for its diverse vehicle portfolio.
