Strategic Commercialization Agreement
Under a commercialization agreement, Fresenius Kabi has secured the exclusive rights to market and distribute the rituximab biosimilar within the United States. This partnership is expected to leverage Fresenius Kabi’s established presence in the U.S. pharmaceutical market to ensure broad access and successful uptake of the newly approved biosimilar.

The approval underscores Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’ robust capabilities in developing, manufacturing, and bringing complex biologic medicines to highly regulated markets. The company highlighted the successful Pre-License Inspection (PLI) conducted by the U.S. FDA at its biologics manufacturing facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad, as a testament to its operational excellence.
