VIP Industries: FY26 Revenue Declines 15% to ₹1,849 Cr, Posts Net Loss of ₹343 Cr

VIP Industries reported a consolidated revenue of ₹1,858.13 crore for FY 2025-26, a decrease from ₹2,178.43 crore in the previous year. This decline was attributed to strategic efforts to correct channel inventory and reset pricing. The company posted a consolidated net loss of ₹338.01 crore, which included one-time inventory provisions and channel liquidation support. Despite the challenging year, the company made progress in reducing net inventory and net debt, positioning itself for future growth.

Financial Performance Overview

VIP Industries Limited announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, revealing a consolidated revenue of ₹1,858.13 crore. This represents a notable decrease compared to the ₹2,178.43 crore reported in the previous fiscal year, FY 2024-25. The company attributes this revenue decline to deliberate actions taken to address channel inventory overstocking, implement pricing guardrails, and rationalize its SKU count.

Net Loss and Key Factors

For FY 2025-26, VIP Industries reported a consolidated net loss of ₹338.01 crore. This loss includes substantial one-time, non-recurring provisions amounting to ₹123 crore for slow-moving inventory and approximately ₹40–50 crore for channel liquidation support. Management has indicated that these charges were necessary to cleanse the system and have now been fully absorbed.

Balance Sheet Improvements

Despite the challenging financial year, the company has focused on strengthening its balance sheet. Net inventory was reduced from ₹698 crore to ₹472 crore, and net debt was lowered from ₹377 crore to ₹309 crore. These initiatives are part of the company’s strategy to position itself for sustainable, competitive growth.

Operational Highlights

The company highlighted several key actions taken during FY 2025-26:

  • Balance Sheet Repair: Significant reduction in gross inventory and net debt.
  • Channel Recalibration: Normalization of channel inventory levels and restoration of trade partner confidence.
  • SKU Rationalization: Streamlining of product offerings and introduction of pricing guardrails.
  • Leadership and Capability Building: Investments in senior team talent and supply chain infrastructure.

VIP Industries is now focused on offensive execution in FY 2026-27, emphasizing new designs, supply chain optimization, and market share growth.
