Global Health: Q1 FY27 Total Income Climbs 26.2% to ₹13,262 Million

Global Health Limited (Medanta) announced its unaudited consolidated financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported a robust 26.2% year-over-year increase in total income, reaching INR 13,262 million. EBITDA also saw a significant rise of 23.5% to INR 3,153 million, driven by strong patient volume growth and improved operational efficiencies.

Global Health Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Global Health Limited, operating under the Medanta brand, has unveiled its unaudited consolidated financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27), which concluded on June 30, 2026. The company achieved its highest ever quarterly total income, amounting to INR 13,262 million, representing a substantial 26.2% growth compared to the same period last year.

Key Financial Highlights

Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter stood at INR 3,153 million, an increase of 23.5% year-over-year. EBITDA margins were reported at 23.8%. Profit before tax saw a marginal increase of 2.5% to INR 2,133 million, while profit after tax experienced a slight decrease of 1.1% to INR 1,573 million. This was attributed to a non-recurring exceptional income of INR 196 million in Q1 FY26.

Operational Performance Indicators

Operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) also showed positive trends. The number of operational beds increased by 22.1% to 3,037. Occupancy rates were steady at 62.6%. Average Revenue Per Occupied Bed (ARPOB) saw a growth of 5.5% to INR 70,244, while Average Length of Stay (ALOS) decreased by 5.2% to 2.87 days.

Strategic Growth and Expansion

The company highlighted significant growth in patient volumes, with in-patient counts increasing by 27.7% and out-patient counts by 34.5% year-over-year. During the quarter, 72 new beds were added across the network, including 51 beds in Noida. Medanta is also progressing with its expansion plans, including an 80-bed cancer facility in Indore and scaling up its Guwahati project to a 650-bed super specialty hospital.
