Bank of India has released its unaudited (reviewed) financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The bank demonstrated robust financial performance, with a significant year-on-year growth across key profitability metrics.

Profitability & Asset Quality:
- Operating Profit improved by 25.99% YoY, standing at ₹5,051 crore for Jun’26, up from ₹4,009 crore in Jun’25.
- Net Profit increased by a substantial 36.23% YoY, reaching ₹3,068 crore for Jun’26, compared to ₹2,252 crore in Jun’25.
- Net Interest Income (NII) saw a growth of 12.61% YoY, totaling ₹6,833 crore for Jun’26, up from ₹6,068 crore in Jun’25.
- Non-Interest Income increased by 19.07% YoY to ₹2,579 crore for Jun’26 from ₹2,166 crore in Jun’25.
- Gross NPA ratio improved by 111 bps YoY to 1.81% for Jun’26.
- Net NPA ratio improved by 24 bps YoY to 0.51% for Jun’26.
- Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) improved to 93.83% in Jun’26 from 92.94% in Jun’25.
- The bank’s CRAR (Capital to Risk-Weighted Assets Ratio) improved to 18.69% as on 30.06.2026 from 17.39% as on 30.06.2025.
Business Performance
The bank’s Global business grew by 16.57% YoY to ₹17.55 lakh crore in Jun’26. Global Deposits increased by 14.90% YoY to ₹9.58 lakh crore, while Domestic Deposits grew by 16.15% YoY to ₹8.25 lakh crore. Global Gross Advances increased by 18.64% YoY to ₹7.98 lakh crore.
Institutional Initiatives
Bank of India has undertaken several institutional initiatives, including establishing a dedicated Sales Vertical, launching a Strategic Business Branch (SVB), introducing a Virtual Personalized Debit Card, the BOI Star Choice Current Account, and operationalizing a Centralized Video Customer Identification Process Centre. The bank also expanded its digital banking services in Kenya with the launch of the Kenya Mobile Banking App.
Outlook
The bank anticipates a constructive outlook for the Indian economy, supported by stable consumption and healthy credit demand. Guidance for FY27 remains unchanged with global advances projected to grow by 15-16% and global deposits by 13-14%. The focus will be on balanced growth, improving the deposit mix, supporting credit demand, maintaining asset quality, and enhancing operational efficiency through technology.
