The company has demonstrated significant growth, driven by its core EPC business and strategic expansion into adjacent segments like Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Data Centres.

The consolidated financial highlights for Q1 FY27 indicate a robust performance:

  • Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹924.25 crores, an impressive increase of 53.23% year-on-year compared to ₹603.19 crores in Q1 FY26.
  • EBITDA: Reached ₹173.48 crores, up by 47.58% year-on-year from ₹117.55 crores in Q1 FY26.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): Totaled ₹118.97 crores, a growth of 37.70% year-on-year from ₹86.40 crores in Q1 FY26.

Operational Performance and Growth Drivers

The company’s performance in Q1 FY27 was characterized by steady execution across its EPC portfolio and efficient resource management. WRTL has been actively expanding its capabilities beyond its core renewable EPC business, with the recent acquisition of Associated Power Structures Pvt. Ltd. (APSPL) strengthening its presence in the transmission and distribution (T&D) segment. The company is also pursuing EPC opportunities in Battery Energy Storage Systems and Data Centres, aiming for a broader and more integrated presence across the clean energy value chain.

Order Book and Future Outlook

WRTL maintains a strong order book position, with a consolidated unexecuted order book of over ₹5,300 crores. The bidding pipeline remains robust, including significant opportunities in solar (37 GWp+), BESS (10 GWh+), and T&D (₹20k Cr+). Recent order wins include a 1,520 MWh BESS order and a 450 MWp Ground Mounted solar power project. The company also acquired a 55% equity stake in Associated Power Structures Pvt. Ltd, enhancing its T&D capabilities.
