M&HCV buses saw a more substantial decline, with sales of 1,255 units, down 35% from 1,920 units in the previous year. Consequently, total M&HCV domestic sales amounted to 8,320 units, an 11% decrease from 9,386 units.
LCV Segment
Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) demonstrated positive growth, with sales reaching 5,828 units in May 2026, a 13% increase from 5,148 units in May 2025. This growth helped to partially offset the decline in the M&HCV segment.
Total Domestic Vehicles
Overall, total domestic vehicle sales for Ashok Leyland in May 2026 stood at 14,148 units, a slight decrease of 3% from 14,534 units in May 2025.
