Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited Q4 FY 25-26 Financial Results

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) has announced robust financial results for Q4 FY 25-26, driven by improved sales realization across its core product portfolio. The company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹392 crores for the quarter, significantly higher than the ₹210 crores reported in the same quarter of the previous year. Strategic focus on operational efficiency and input cost management has bolstered the company’s financial stability despite global geopolitical challenges.

Quarterly Financial Performance

For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, GNFC recorded an Operating Revenue of ₹2,208 crores and a Total Revenue of ₹2,333 crores. The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached ₹526 crores, demonstrating strong performance compared to ₹287 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On an annual basis for FY 25-26, the company achieved a PAT of ₹797 crores and a Total Revenue of ₹8,272 crores.

Dividend and Shareholder Value

Reflecting the company’s commitment to delivering value to its stakeholders, the Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of 210%, translating to ₹21 per share. This reflects a healthy payout ratio of 39%, supported by consistent profit generation since the company’s inception.

Strategic Capital Allocation and Expansion

GNFC is actively executing its growth strategy with a focus on value-accretive projects. Currently, the company has ~₹2,100 crores committed to brownfield expansion projects, including Weak Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate, and Ammonia expansion. Additionally, ~₹700 crores is allocated toward maintenance capex for infrastructure like the CFBC Boiler and EHV Line. Furthermore, the company anticipates the Dahej power and steam plant will commence operations by Q2 FY 26-27, further enhancing operational self-sufficiency.

Operational Highlights

The company continues to leverage its status as a market leader, being the only manufacturer of Toluene Di-isocyanate (TDI) in the South East Asia and Indian Sub-continent region. With a multi-product basket and a strong technical team, GNFC maintains robust manufacturing capabilities, having successfully absorbed complex global technologies to ensure high capacity utilization across its Bharuch and Dahej complexes.
