The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited Voluntary Liquidation of Sandur Pellets Private Limited

The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited has announced the successful dissolution of its wholly owned subsidiary, Sandur Pellets Private Limited (SPPL). Following the approval by the National Company Law Tribunal on 29 April 2026, the subsidiary has been officially liquidated. The closure is part of corporate streamlining efforts, as the entity remained inactive since its incorporation in May 2022 and generated no operating revenue during its existence.

Liquidation Order Finalized

The National Company Law Tribunal, Bengaluru Bench, has granted the final approval for the voluntary liquidation of Sandur Pellets Private Limited (SPPL). This formal closure was confirmed through an order dated 29 April 2026, effectively dissolving the subsidiary. The move marks the conclusion of the voluntary liquidation process initiated by the company’s Board of Directors in March 2025.

Rationale Behind the Closure

Sandur Pellets Private Limited was originally established on 7 May 2022 to explore potential business avenues in the production, beneficiation, and marketing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. However, the company confirmed that SPPL never engaged in any active business operations since its inception.

Financial and Operational Impact

The dissolution of the subsidiary has no material impact on the parent company’s financial health. Because SPPL did not generate any operating revenue and remained inactive throughout its tenure, its contribution to the turnover, income, and net worth of the listed entity remained negligible. The closure allows the parent organization to streamline its corporate structure and focus resources on core operations.
