PG Electroplast has acquired a 50-acre land parcel in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, through its subsidiary, PG Technoplast Private Limited. This acquisition will support a new integrated manufacturing campus with an investment of ₹1,000 crore over the next five years. The first phase includes a refrigerator plant with a capacity of 1.2 million units annually, slated for completion by December 2026.
Strategic Land Acquisition
PG Electroplast Limited (“PGEL”) through its Wholly Owned Subsidiary PG Technoplast Private Limited (“PGTL”), has announced the acquisition of a 50-acre land parcel in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This acquisition marks PG Group’s first facility in South India and represents its largest land acquisition to date.
Investment and Expansion Plans
PGEL plans to invest around ₹1,000 crore in developing an integrated manufacturing campus over the next 5 years. Located near Chennai port, this facility will strengthen PGEL’s manufacturing footprint and support long-term export opportunities.
First Phase: Refrigerator Plant
The first phase will focus on a refrigerator plant with an annual capacity of 1.2 million units, with commercial production expected by December 2026. The site will also accommodate expansion into air conditioners, washing machines, and other home appliances and electronics.
