Tech Mahindra FY26 Profit Surges to ₹4,811 Crore, Declares Highest-Ever Dividend

Tech Mahindra has announced its audited financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026. The company reported a robust annual profit of ₹4,811 crore, marking a 13.2% increase year-on-year. Driven by record deal wins totaling $3,794 million, the board has recommended a final dividend of ₹36 per share. Combined with the interim dividend, the total payout for the year reaches ₹51 per share, the highest in the company’s history.

Strong Financial Performance

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Tech Mahindra demonstrated solid growth, with annual revenue reaching ₹56,815 crore, a 7.2% rise over the previous year. The company’s EBIT also saw significant improvement, jumping by 39.2% to ₹7,152 crore. The quarterly results for Q4 (January-March) were equally impressive, with revenue of ₹15,076 crore and profit after tax of ₹1,354 crore, reflecting 16.0% growth compared to the same period last year.

Record Deal Wins and Strategic Growth

The company achieved its highest-ever deal wins in five years, securing $3,794 million in Total Contract Value (TCV) for the fiscal year. This performance highlights growing client confidence in the firm’s transformation capabilities. Management attributed this success to a disciplined focus on scaling operations and embedding AI-led solutions across enterprise services, effectively moving clients from experimentation to large-scale execution.

Dividend and Shareholder Payout

Reflecting its commitment to shareholder value, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹36 per equity share, subject to approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting scheduled for July 17, 2026. When added to the interim dividend of ₹15 per share paid in November 2025, the total dividend for FY 2025-26 stands at ₹51 per share. The record date for the final dividend entitlement has been set for July 3, 2026.

Driving Innovation in AI

Tech Mahindra continues to expand its technological footprint, notably through the launch of an education-focused Large Language Model (LLM) and the demonstration of IndusLLM for sovereign AI deployments. Furthermore, the company has forged key partnerships with global technology leaders including Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Fortinet to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI and secure network operations for clients across the telecommunications, banking, and energy sectors.
