The group achieved a 21% year-on-year growth in toll revenue, reaching Rs 783 Crore. This robust performance is bolstered by the group’s expansive portfolio of 28 highway assets and the recent commissioning of new projects, signaling a positive growth trajectory for the upcoming fiscal year.
Strong Monthly Toll Performance
The IRB Group, encompassing its parent company and two sponsored InvITs, recorded a total toll revenue of Rs 783 Crore (Rs 7,835 Million) for the month of March 2026. This reflects a significant increase compared to the Rs 649 Crore (Rs 6,489 Million) reported in March 2025. This growth underscores the operational efficiency of the group’s diversified asset base across 13 Indian states.
Annual Highlights and Strategic Growth
For the full financial year FY26, the group reported an aggregate toll revenue of Rs 8,323 Crore. This figure represents an estimated 10% market share of India’s total toll revenue for the year. Commenting on the performance, the leadership highlighted that growth is being driven by the recent commissioning of new assets, such as the TOT project in Odisha, and anticipated developments like the Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.
Future Outlook
Management remains optimistic for FY27, citing a trajectory for improved growth. The strategy includes focusing on new asset acquisitions and leveraging revised toll tariffs on existing infrastructure. With approximately 1.5 million vehicles traversing its highways daily and a 97% FASTag penetration, the group continues to consolidate its position as a leading concessionaire in the Indian highway sector.
