Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories announced significant changes to its Senior Management Personnel, effective April 1, 2026. The key elevation is that of Mr. M S Madhu Sundar, who moves to the role of Global Head of Quality and PV and joins the Management Council. Additionally, the roles of four other senior executives, including the CEO Global Generics and the Chief Operating Officer, have been revised.
Key Elevation in Senior Management
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has approved the elevation of Mr. M S Madhu Sundar as a Senior Management Personnel and a Member of the Management Council. His new designation, effective from April 1, 2026, will be Global Head of Quality and PV. Previously, Mr. Sundar served as Head Global Manufacturing FTO Oral Solid Dosages (OSD) & Operational Excellence (OE).
Mr. Sundar holds a post-graduate degree in Chemistry and an M. Tech in advanced analytical chemistry from IIT Delhi. With 28 years of industrial experience spanning API, dosage form manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, and supply chain, he joined Dr. Reddy’s in October 2017.
Revisions to Senior Roles
In addition to Mr. Sundar’s elevation, the company announced changes in the roles and designations for other key Senior Management Personnel, all effective from April 1, 2026:
- Mr. M V Ramana: Revised to CEO Global Generics.
- Mr. Sanjay Sharma: Revised to Chief Operating Officer.
- Mr. Krishna Venkatesh: Revised to Global Head of IPDO, Integrated Product Development.
- Mr. Patrick Aghanian: Revised to Head – Consumer Health Organization.
These organizational realignments are intended to strengthen the leadership team overseeing critical functions like global operations, product development, and business units.
