Mr. Jayant Balan’s Background
Mr. Balan joined the Tata Group in 1999 and has been with Voltas since 2001. Over the past two decades, he has held various leadership positions across manufacturing, supply chain, strategy, international operations, and consumer durables. Since 2019, he served as the CEO of Voltbek Home Appliances Private Limited.
Role and Responsibilities
In his new role as Head – Room Air Conditioner Business, Mr. Balan will be responsible for leading and growing Voltas’ air conditioning segment. His extensive experience and proven leadership are expected to drive innovation and market share gains in the coming years. He will transition to the new role, effective January 1, 2026.
