NBCC (India) Limited Settlement Reached on Delhi Land Dispute

NBCC (India) Limited has reached a settlement with the Government of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD) to resolve a long-pending land dispute. The dispute concerned 42.46 acres in Sultanpur/Ghitorni village in Delhi. As per the settlement, the land will be equally divided between NBCC and GNCTD, resulting in a 21.23-acre share for NBCC. GNCTD will execute a perpetual lease deed in favor of NBCC.

Resolution of Land Dispute

NBCC (India) Limited announced on December 26, 2025, that a settlement has been reached with the Government of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD) concerning a long-standing land dispute. This agreement aims to resolve litigation related to a land area of 42.46 acres situated in Sultanpur/Ghitorni village in Delhi.

Key Terms of the Settlement

Under the terms of the settlement, the 42.46-acre Ghitorni land will be divided equally between NBCC and GNCTD. This division will result in a 21.23-acre share for NBCC. To formalize this arrangement, GNCTD will execute a perpetual lease deed in favour of NBCC.

Development Rights

The approved terms of the settlement will grant development rights to NBCC, allowing the company to proceed in accordance with the Master Plan for Delhi (MPD-2021).
