Background of the Dispute

The Demand Letter pertains to an alleged shortfall in mineral dispatch from the Sukinda Chromite Block for the fourth year of the Mine Development and Production Agreement (July 23, 2023 through July 22, 2024). The issue stems from alleged violations of Rule 12-A of the Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016.

Interim Protection Extended

As of November 26, 2025, the court has further extended this protection until the next hearing, scheduled for December 3, 2025.
