Financial Performance Highlights
Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited reported robust financial results for Q2 FY’26:
- Revenue: ₹6,413 crore compared to ₹4,346 crore in the previous year.
- EBITDA: ₹882 crore versus ₹834 crore last year.
- Profit After Tax: ₹602 crore, a 20% increase from ₹500 crore in the prior year.
For the first half of FY’26, revenue reached ₹12,110 crore, and profit after tax was ₹1,240 crore, an 18% growth.
Business Segment Performance
The Crop Protection and Speciality Nutrient business continues to show strength, with volume growth at 28%. Revenue for this segment in Q2 FY’26 was ₹374 crore, a 29% increase. 22 new products were launched in the first half of the financial year.
Operational Updates
Urea sales volumes were slightly lower due to an unscheduled stoppage at the Gadepan-III plant. The technical ammonium nitrate (TAN) plant is on track to begin operations in January 2026, with approximately ₹1,052 crore spent on the project to date. Phosphoric acid capacity expansion is expected by December 2026.
