Indian Operations
The capacity utilization of JSW Steel’s Indian operations was 83%. This was primarily due to the shutdown of Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar, which is undergoing an upgrade to increase its capacity from 3.0 MTPA to 4.5 MTPA.
Excluding the impact of the BF3 shutdown, the capacity utilization rate for the Indian operations would have been approximately 92% in October 2025. The company anticipates the BF3 to be back in operation in February 2026.
