Exide Industries Board Meeting Postponed Due to Income Tax Survey

Exide Industries has announced the postponement of its Board meeting, originally scheduled for October 30, 2025, due to an ongoing Income Tax survey at the company’s offices and manufacturing units in India since October 29, 2025. The meeting was to consider the unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The revised date will be communicated in due course.

Board Meeting Delay

The Exide Industries Board meeting, previously scheduled for October 30, 2025, has been postponed. This decision comes as a result of the Income Tax department conducting a survey at the company’s offices and manufacturing units across India, which commenced on October 29, 2025. Exide Industries is fully cooperating with the authorities during this process.

Impact of Survey

Currently, there is no significant impact on the company’s business operations due to the ongoing survey. Exide Industries will provide any further material updates as required.

Financial Results Update

The Board meeting was intended to review and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. As a result of the postponement, the release of these results will be delayed. A revised date for the Board meeting will be announced at a later time.

Trading Window Closure

In compliance with SEBI regulations regarding insider trading, the trading window for Exide Industries’ securities will remain closed until 48 hours after the declaration of the financial results for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2025.
