Hero MotoCorp: August 2026 Dispatches Reach 5.68 Lakh Units

Hero MotoCorp reported total dispatches of 5,68,398 units in August 2026, marking a year-on-year increase from 5,53,727 units in August 2025. The company’s domestic ICE business saw robust retail momentum, while its electric mobility arm, VIDA, achieved strong growth with the launch of the VIDA VX2 Go. The Global Business unit also expanded its product portfolio in international markets.

Hero MotoCorp Reports Strong August 2026 Sales

Hero MotoCorp, a global leader in motorcycles and scooters, announced its sales performance for August 2026, with total dispatches reaching 5,68,398 units. This represents a notable increase compared to the 5,53,727 units dispatched in the same period last year. The company noted strong retail growth momentum, with a 19% VAHAN growth, indicating robust demand as the festive season approaches.

VIDA Electric Mobility Sustains Momentum

The company’s emerging mobility division, VIDA, continued its strong retail trajectory in August 2026, dispatching 25,558 units and achieving a healthy 38% VAHAN growth. Enhancing its product offering, VIDA launched the VIDA VX2 Go in a 3.1 kWh fixed battery variant, expanding the EVOOTER range and providing an accessible entry into premium electric mobility. The brand also bolstered its sports and youth engagement by partnering with the VIDA Kovai Kings in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and secured prestigious design awards for its NOVUS series and VIDA Dirt.E MX7.

Domestic ICE Business Maintains Robust Performance

Hero MotoCorp’s domestic Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) business recorded dispatches of 5,16,747 units in August 2026, alongside an 18% VAHAN retail growth. Popular models like Splendor and the new Passion, along with Glamour X and the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0, maintained strong retail traction. The Destini and Xoom series led the scooter segment. Glamour X 125 was recognized as ‘Commuter of the Year’ at the ABP Network Auto Awards. Furthermore, the company’s premium experiential selling skill program earned the Brandon Hall Gold Award for its innovative learning and development approach.

Global Business Expansion and Premiumisation Focus

The Global Business unit contributed 26,093 units to the total dispatches in August 2026. Hero MotoCorp strengthened its international presence by launching the XPulse 200 4V and XPulse 200 4V Pro in Bangladesh, marking a significant step in its 12-year journey in the country. To further drive growth, the company appointed Anuj Dua as Chief Business Officer – Premium Segment, underscoring a strategic focus on premiumisation.
